- To determine thermal conductivity of bad conductors in form of thin layers.
- Resting on it is a 5 cm deep hollow cylinder of the same diameter
- With inlet and outlet tubes for steam; both having radial holes, for the thermometers.
- Material under test is placed in between two cylinders.
- Apparatus suspended by strings attached to the lower cylinder from Iron ring 125 mm diameter on retort stand.
- Complete with one each disc, specimens of glass, plastic annul-us 3 mm thick for determining conductivity of liquids.
